About Nagisa
Nagisa began her idol training young, being placed in a youth academy by her parents once she was old enough. However, despite her long-standing performance ability she had been timid for a majority of her childhood. By the end of her 1st year at Gushiken, Nagisa had had enough of being pushed around due to her nature and turned a new leaf as the leader of Nautiance. Now as a bright and bubbly girl, she is driven by a strong desire to find her journey, on her own terms! She's easily recognized by a majority of students for her outgoing nature and spontaneous decision making; which she is always able to make work out in mysterious ways. Nagisa has lived with a family friend throughout her childhood as her parents live in America, and she generally feels that she has little connection to them. She finds her own family in her friends and is often treated as another family member by them as well.
Nagisa is a very social idol as well, learning to make strong connections with other idols throughout the city! She's well known on her general route to and from school and makes a point to stop and talk to people. As a result, she's one to hear a lot of rumours and information of other idols and keeps track of it for "later use". Although most turn out to be false, sometimes they help give useful one-ups in competitions. Despite her socialness, she'd rather not talk about herself much. She tends to be somewhat solemn in her past and doesn't like to dwell on those memories very much, so she's quick to change the subject.

About Hitomu
Hitomu comes from a long line of musicians and performers, which she has also joined as an idol! Despite being well known for her skill and excellence, she struggles with insecurities of disappointing her family with her performance. In general Hitomu is seen as a rather cold and unfriendly girl, intimidating many of her peers and unintentionally drawing the attention of the more competitive students who see her "business only" attitude as serious competition. When getting to know her though, she's an unexpectedly normal teenage girl with rather mundane hobbies; what she believes to be the perfect balance to the life of an idol. Hitomu is the cousin of Tsukasa, member of Eclipse, as well as the ex-student council president and Gushiken alumni Momo Fukui. Due to Momo's reputation, both her and Tsukasa are viewed with disdain despite not sharing many qualities with Momo.
Hitomu can be a bit stand-offish when it comes to performances or even dress rehersals, having a tendency to worry about every last details. She's also rather intuitive to people's feelings, being the first to point out that something is different. Her nerves tend to get the best of her though and cause her to become reclusive. However, her calm and collected logic has managed to come through more and allowed her to put faith in her groupmates. She finds comfort in her peers assurances and puts her heart into the stage, learning to find enjoyment in her profession!

About Chinatsu
Chinatsu officially became an idol when she passed the academy audition her 1st yer of high school, however she has admired idols and practiced in secret for many more years. She initially learned to sew from her mother and eventually started recreating popular idol's costumes when she had learned the basics. She is a very timid girl in social settings, however she has minimal stage fright due to the adrenaline of being on stage overpowering her hesitance. She was the 1st member of Nautiance to be scouted by Nagisa and has been incredibly loyal to her unit members, even when some weren't quite as kind to her. Although still young, she's matured from her frequent moving and even light bullying from students that just found her "strange". She greatly dislikes confrontation and will shrink away from it as fast as possible, but she doesn't let it go to her head too much and moves along in stride.
Chinatsu did not have any idol activities before Nautiance, being scouted by Nagisa to join her new idol group. The pair quickly grew close and began their work on what they would soon call Nautiance. However, Chinatsu did already have experience in costume design and sewing, mainly idol costumes, before becoming one herself. Both of her parents being in the medical field limits their time at home and usually calls for on or both of them to be away, Chinatsu doesn't seem to hold any grudges towards them though. In her free time she enjoys doing things such as decorating chekis or photo prints of idols for her personal collection, she even sells some online!

Kichi is the most flexible member of Nautiance!
About Kichi
Kichi had originally agreed to audition to Gushiken with Suzu in hopes of getting out of regular schooling. She has always been an athletic and social girl, but school is her kryptonite. Despite her less than enthusiastic attitude about participating as an actual idol, Kichi has bonded with the members of Nautiance and found that she thrives on stage! She is the first of her immediate family to pursue a career "out of the ordinary" and has only had exposure to music through one of her older cousins. Aside from this, she watched Suzu faun over idols in their childhood from afar. Kichi is a loud and social girl, however she has had to learn to be less judgmental since attending Gushiken. She's known to be high energy and fiery girl but she can have a bit of a short temper, though as she grows older her frustrations have become better controlled. She hasn't given up her athletic interests either and often joins the soccer club on the weekends to scrimmage!
She is usually up to meet new people, but she generally likes to stay within her established circle. Suzu usually ushers her to be a bit more friendly, but eventually she'll warm up and talk your ear off! Eitherway, she's fiery and intriguing to fans and a loyal friend to those around her! Besides some of her teenager-esque traits, she's easily exciteable and is a hard worker, giving up just isn't in her vocabulary!

About Suzu
Suzu has been an idol fanatic since she was young, she had basically decided she was going to be an idol by the time she was 8 years old. She has performed in some one-off school idols groups when they were younger, however she ultimately decided to go pro. She offers a great amount of creativity and excitement into Nautiance, being surprisingly well versed in the industry despite being fairly new. Suzu's inspiration was originally school idols, but she ended up going the professional route after doing her research before middle school began. She'd always idolized the performers she saw and desperatly wanted the stage that they had, so she quickly began her training in middle school and succesfully auditioned for Gushiken Academy.
She grew up in a traditional household, and was even a shrine maiden in the past, however her parents have still been surprisingly supportive of Suzu's wishes. Suzu is a kind hearted girl, being a great unit member with her optimistic and supportive attitude as well as her genuine love for performing. She can easily make friends with almost anyone and has a boundless amount of energy! Suzu is very mature for her age, so she gets along well with her upperclassmen. She helps Harumi with tasks like scheduling lives, filling out paperwork, and other manager-esque things. Although most people would describe those tasks as boring, Suzu says she likes to see what happens behind the scenes after loving school idols for so long in her youth. She enjoys doing some of the more tedious tasks simply for the feel of them, and thats enough for her!

About Mitsuki
Mitsuki became an idol during junior high, claiming that she had seen many signs that the universe was pointing her toward her destiny. Her parents are both performers, both mainly working in musical theater, and as a result she has always been interested in script writing and stage design; though performing had never been on her mind until her sudden change of heart. Though she had little knowledge on idols initially, she's a quick learner and had no trouble fitting into the student body. Mitsuki frequently dabbles in witchcraft and the supernatural, even claiming to have an intuition. This tends to make her peers weary of her, however she's a kind-natured girl and isn't deterred by their hesitance about her hobby. Mitsuki is also childhood friends Keomi, and is considered a second older sister to the younger Michi siblings. With her "head in the clouds" disposition, she makes a surprisingly efficient student council VP and a good duo with Harumi, the student council president.
As someone with a large interest in magic and witchcraft, she detail oriented and seems to notice even the little things. She's highly observational of people and claims to have an intuition based on details she notices throughout her day. Although some people either question her or get creeped out by her, she doesn't get offended by others hesitance and gladly offers her insights. Mitsuki also has a love for natural things, books, and spiritual items! She likes to make her own herbal mixes and collects others with special healing qualities!

Sachiko travels somewhere out of the country every summer!
About Sachiko
Sachiko attended public school for a majority of her life, this was mostly spent in the city of Tokyo; where she passed the Gushiken Idol Academy campus while on her way to school every morning. Eventually in her passing she began to chat with a student named Kokoro Atsukashi, who suggested that Sachiko audition. With a bright and fiery attitude, Sachiko passed auditions with flying colors and has become a well known student in the academy. But despite her reputation, she did not find much luck in success as an idol in her previous unit, ROXY. Sachiko is an older sister figure to many of her underclassmen, known to be a bit of an avid gamer and all ways has good snacks to share! One of her biggest mysteries is how she keeps up her stamina with such a decently sedentary life style. Although she has a bit of a temper, she's a reasonable girl and prefers to sort out conflicts; making amends with her old group mates.
Sachiko is your typical genki-energy idol girl, with an endless amount of energy and excitement to share! This can also mean that she's rather impatient and impulsive when it comes to success, easily becoming agitated if things move too slowly. She's learned to channel that energy in a positive way though, putting it into work toward the next performance!As expected, Sachiko is extremely social but sometimes a little intimidating to those unfamiliar to her. She's easy to get along with and is a loyal friend! Sachiko also has a mischievous side, usually partnering with Ichika to pull pranks on students or just cause general mischief.

About Keomi
Keomi began her idol training young, however she did not attend an idol-centered academy until her 1st year of high school. She struggled to keep her original idol group, ROXY, active for 2 years until her current members quit and she was forced to reconsider how to spend her 3rd year of high school. She very hesitantly joined Nautiance, however she has made peace with her insecurities and fellow ex-ROXY members. Keomi is a rather unfriendly and easily provoked girl, she greatly dislikes changes and fears failure. Despite her fiery nature, she regularly takes care of her younger siblings while her parents are away and finds herself to be good with kids; though Mitsuki often helps her out with household tasks. Her younger sister, Setsuko, is also a student in the academy and is often scolded by Keomi for rudeness; despite Keomi having a similar temperament.
Keomi is a rather unfriendly girl, who's easily provoked and hates change. However, it's easy to see that she's really a softy on the inside when you get past her guard. She's someone with a strong will and passion for being a performer who also likes to be helpful to underclassmen. Keomi finds herself drawn to calming tasks, like gardening! As someone who definitely needs a place to let off steam, she finds herself enjoying things like gardening or even tedious tasks to take her mind off things. Keomi mostly helps with costume making in the group, acting as a mentor to Kichi and Chinatsu, though she admits she learns a lot from Chinatsu. Aside from being the leader of ROXY, she sewed costumes for everyone during that time as well.

About Harumi
Harumi officially became an idol her 1st year of high school after dreaming of it while in junior high. Not only does she have a wide knowledge of the industry itself, but her strategy and creativity makes her a vital part of Nautiance's growth. Despite her efficient work ethic, she enjoys lounging about and napping around the school. Many wonder if this is partially due to work exhaustion but she's never admitted to it. Harumi comes from a family of white-collar workers and was met with criticism about her career choice, though her older sister tries to be supportive; she shares a similar viewpoint as their parents. With this, she has a fear of failure and though she won't admit it, being in her final year with no major achievements is a blow to her confidence.
Harumi Kubo is our snarky but loveable student council president who likes to nap a bit too much… Despite this, she’s a hardworking and dedicated idol always willing to offer up her advice and experiences to other trainees! With a love for anything fluffy and the fine details, she’s found her perfect place on the idol stage! She's a rather easy going president and almost always surprises new students with her laid back and sarcastic nature. She fuels her fire with her own fear of failure, when she sets her mind to something it's hard to let go! Despite this, she's matured enough as a 3rd year to know what the best choice is and when to make it. Harumi is seen as someone easy to talk to and a popular advisor to 1st years, using her experience of just how harsh Gushiken can be.
